Description

This 12 acre park, named in honor of former Conservation Commission Chairman, Jack McMillen, features a hiking trail which starts at the parking area and follows the scenic Transylvania Brook. The path winds through heavy woods surrounding an extensive wetland area.

Rules

These areas are regulated by Southbury ordinances. Parks are open from sunrise to sunset. Carry in, carry out garbage. No camping. No dogs allowed. No alcoholic beverages. No motorized vehicles (including ATVs, snow mobiles). No hunting, no trapping. No removal or destruction of plants, etc. or other damage to the parks.
