10/20/2022 - The Elderly Brothers Concert on November 19, 2022

On Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 1-2:30pm in the Kingsley Room, join us for a concert of rock ‘n roll hits with the Elderly Brothers.

Join us for an “old-time rock and roll” jam fest with the Elderly Brothers, T-Bone Stankus and Brian Gillie. Listen to a mix of mint-condition “oldies” rock ‘n’ roll with pitch-perfect harmonies and soulful improvisations as fresh as the originals.

Long-time music teacher, singer, dance choreographer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Gillie has been offering music, song and dance programs and concerts for ages 2 through 92 since 1983.

Tom "T-Bone" Stankus is an American musician based in Bristol, Connecticut. He is known for performing comedic stylings with his acoustic guitar. He is most noted for his song "Existential Blues," which heavily references the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone regardless of town of residency. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Registration is required. Please visit the link below for more information and to register.
