11/7/2017 - The Nutcracker Ballet on November 17, 2018

An Interactive Children’s Program by the Main Street Ballet

The Main Street Ballet of Woodbury will be presenting selections from The Nutcracker Suite in the Kingsley Room at the Southbury Public Library on Friday, November 17th at 6:00 p.m.

It will be presented in an interactive storytelling format, where the children in the audience are invited to become a part of the story and join the dancers on stage.

This year’s guest artists are Edward Ellison Ballet (New York) dancers: Jeason Mejia of the as the Sugar Plum Cavelier and Agustin Pereyrarga as the Snow King and Waltz of the Flowers Cavalier. Main Street Ballet soloist’s include: Elizabeth Loehle as the Sugar Plum Princess, Isabella Witt as the Sugar Plum Fairy; Larissa Davidowitz as the Snow Queen; Grace Richardson as Dew Drop; Regan Moran and Kate Goncalves as Clara; and Rick Richardson as Herr Drosselmeyer. Main Street Ballet’s Nutcracker is sponsored in part by a grant from the CT Community Foundation.

Children of all ages are invited to attend and registration is required. It can be done by stopping by the Youth Services Department or calling 203-262-0626 ext. 3.
