On Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 7pm in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library, Judge Domenick Calabrese will give an Estate Planning Seminar.
In this free seminar, Judge Calabrese will discuss the purposes of estate planning, including asset management, transferring assets during life and after death, estate tax planning, and planning for incapacity. Judge Calabrese will examine how wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and designations of conservator may be used to create a comprehensive estate plan.
Judge Domenick Calabrese has been a Connecticut Probate Judge since 2003. He is currently the judge of the Region 22 Probate District which serves 73,000 residents in the towns of Oakville, Watertown, Woodbury, Bethlehem, Southbury, Oxford, Washington and Roxbury. He is also a judge in the Waterbury Regional Children's Court. Judge Calabrese makes regular presentations to various civic groups throughout the area covering different aspects of probate, including guardianships, living trusts, unclaimed property, estate taxes and administering decedent’s estates.
