United Way of Greater Waterbury Day of Action
Storytime at the Southbury Public Library

The Southbury Public Library is pleased to partner with the United Way of Greater Waterbury as they celebrate 75 years of local volunteering. The United Way Literacy Project volunteers will present storytime and a related craft.

The Literacy Project aims to connect a child's love of reading with their love of the outdoors and the environment while giving them a sense of wonder and awe through reading. This event will not only support one of the three pillars of the United Way's mission, but will also reinforce the positive role the community can play in the raising of a child.

Children will receive a copy of Mercer Mayer’s beloved Little Critter in a brand-new My First I Can Read storybook!
