5/10/2017 - Waterbury Interactive: Our City, Our Neighborhoods, Part II on June 6

Discover more about the rich history of the Waterbury area on Tuesday, June 6 2017 from 3-4PM in the Kingsley Room of the Southbury Public Library with “Waterbury Interactive: Our City, Our Neighborhoods, Part II” as presented by Shakesperience Productions, Inc.

Part II was developed this past spring as a multigenerational collaboration. While it is thematically similar to Part I in that it covers the history of the Waterbury area, it will contain new skits and stories. Seeing Part I is not necessary to enjoy Part II, and those who saw Part I will enjoy the new content of Part II. Songs, acting scenes, and stories will be used by a team of Shakesperience teaching artists and volunteers to portray the dynamic history of Waterbury. Participation from audience members will be welcomed but is not required for attendance. Audience members are welcome to either participate in the show when asked or to sit back and enjoy the performance.

Registration is required. Please call 203-262-0626 ext. 130 to register. This program is funded through grants from the Connecticut Community Foundation and sponsored by Ion Bank and Saint Mary’s Hospital.
