MOMENTS IN TIME
A Memoir Writing Workshop
Are you beset by images of your past, childhood friends, old neighborhoods, long-forgotten incidents? When the past haunts the present it is nudging us to do something; to capture moments in time that need rescuing; that need to be put down in words. Perhaps it’s time to write your memoir!
If that sounds too monumental to attempt alone, then come join our Memoir Writing Workshop. This four-part series is designed to teach participants some of the critical skills needed to construct a personal narrative. Working in a supportive setting with useful feedback from peers and the instructor will help get those literary juices flowing.
Debra Robbins, a professional writer and college professor, will lead the workshops. All you need is a pen, a notebook, and your memories.
The workshop will meet for four Saturdays: April 2, 9, 16 & 23, from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Brown room.
Registration is required. Space is limited. Please call the library at 203-262-0626 ext. 130
Sponsored by the Janet Mann Gift Fund.
