Colon Cancer Awareness: A presentation about risk factors, symptoms, and screening
As part of the Western Connecticut Health network, Dr. Adam Gorelick, M.D. will be at the Southbury Public Library on Thursday, May 26th from 2-3pm in the Kingsley Room to discuss the prevention of colon cancer. He will talk about risk factors, symptoms, and screening. The presentation will also have a brief overview about polyp types and colonoscopies.
Dr. Gorelick practiced gastroenterology for 15 years. Prior to joining the Western Connecticut Medical Group, Dr. Gorelick was in private practice in New Haven. He served as Chief of Gastroenterology at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and was the Site Director for the Yale University GI Fellowship Program and received the Clinical Award for teaching. He also achieved the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine.
