Les Julian to give a special musical performance at the Southbury Library

The Children’s Department of the Southbury Public Library welcomes musician and composer Les Julian to the Southbury Library on Friday July 8th at 6:00.pm. He will be performing “Dreaming Aloud: A Show About Heroes.” It is open to all summer readers ages 5 and up and registration is required.

Les Julian has entertained thousands of children and adults in hundreds of venues for over 25 years. His family performances showcase his award winning original songs and illuminate universal themes of human life while celebrating the diversity of the world through an array of exciting musical styles.

Les is a past president of the CT. Songwriters Association, has won the New Haven Advocate’s Musician’s Poll in the Folk category and is a winner of numerous national awards including the 1995 Parents Choice Gold Award and a 1996 American Library Assoc. Notable Recording for Children.
