Children’s Department of the Southbury Public Library Details Plans for March
The Children’s Department of the Southbury Public Library will offer a variety of programs for children and young adults during the month of March:
Storytimes will be held on Monday-Thursday all month long. Drop In Storytimes on Mondays at 10:30 and PJ Storytimes on Thursday at 6:00pm require no registration and are for all ages.
Storytime sign up for spring sessions will begin on Monday, March 7th at 9:30 at the Children’s Circulation Desk. Stop in or call us at (203) 262-0626 ext. 3 to register. Babies and Books will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 beginning March 22nd, Toddler Time for ages 2 and 3 will be held on Weds at 10:30 beginning March 23rd and Stories and Crafts for ages 4 & 5 will be held on Thursdays at 10:30 beginning March 24th. The spring sessions will run for six weeks.
Booktalks for the month will include the KinderClub for children going in kindergarten will be held on Monday, March 14th at 4:15, Page Turners for grades 1 & 2 on Weds, March 16th at 4:15, Snacks and Stories for girls in grades 4 and up on Thurs, March 10th at 4:15 and Book Buddies Booktalk on Mon, March 7th at 4:15pm.
Wii Have Fun for grades 1-5 will be held on Tuesday, March 15th at 4:15 and Lego to the Library for grades 1-5 will take place on Fri., March 11th at 4:15.
The Lunch Bunch indoor picnic and movie will be on Thursday, March10 at 12:00 and the Movies & Munchies monthly film will be the new feature the new film that is based on the “Peanuts” cartoon strip. This will be shown on Friday, March 18thth at 6:00pm.
