The Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission took the following actions at their regular meeting held on September 11, 2018 at Southbury Town Hall.
Having considered the factors and circumstances set forth in Section 4 of the regulations and having reviewed all information and reports received by the commission regarding these applications, the following applications were approved.
Application #1632 524 South Flat Hill Road; Alex Tonnessen, applicant; approval consists of construction of a new house on an existing foundation within the 50 foot setback of a first order perennial stream and mitigating areas of excessive erosion at two locations of the stream, removing a small earthen dam within the stream and repairing the wing walls and splash pads for the existing culvert, with conditions.
Application #1634 155 Lakemere Drive; Lee Heinzman, applicant; approval consists of extending a deck 5 to 6 feet off an existing dwelling requiring four foundation holes to be dug within the upland review area, with conditions.
Application #1635 Resubdivision of Lot 15R-Burr Farm Estates; Burr Road Properties, LLC, applicant; approval consists of installing a 14 foot wide driveway crossing at an 18 foot span of Kettletown Brook will not have a substantial impact on the regulated area, with conditions.
Recommendation to the Board of Selectmen for release of the Bio Detention Planting Bond for 32 Poverty Road.
