The Southbury Zoning Board of Appeals took the following actions at the September 5, 2017 regular meeting:
APPROVED Application #10277 David B. Mentgen for Variance of Section 4.7 and Schedule B Line 7.2 of the zoning regulations relating to the minimum street line setback of Middle Road (30 feet) so as to permit construction of a two-car garage with attached lean-to (storage area), 8.5 feet from the street line for property located at 636 South Britain Road, Zone R-20; subject to a filing fee payable to the Office of the Town Clerk for the Variance to become effective on the land records.
DENIED – Application #10289 Jennifer & Harry H. Stone III for Variance of Section 4.7 and Schedule B Line 8 of the zoning regulations relating to the minimum property line setback (20 feet) so as to permit construction of an addition to an existing dwelling 15.2 feet from the property line for property located at 70 Pine Hill Road, Zone R-30.
