The Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission took the following actions at their regular meeting held on June 13, 2017 at Southbury Town Hall.
Having considered the factors and circumstances set forth in Section 7.5 of the regulations and having reviewed all information and reports received by the Commission regarding these applications, the following applications were approved.
Application Modification #1604-A The Meadows; 390 Roxbury Road; Bennett Sullivan Associates, applicant; approval consists of constructing four separate structures (townhomes with detached garages) and installing associated septic, well, and stormwater system, with conditions.
Application #1612 990 Main Street North; Southbury Real Estate Group, applicant; approval consists of hand clearing of invasive plant species by the root ball in the understory and dead hanging trees from within the wetland boundary, with conditions.
Application #1613 1076 Bullet Hill Road Lot 1; Ann Virga (c/o Scott Volpe, Connecticut Residential, Inc., applicant; approval consists of construction of a single family dwelling, associated septic and well, channelizing/impacting 66 linear feet of perineal stream channel, filling 1,360 sq. feet of wetland area and 2,685 sq. feet of upland review area for the driveway crossing, with conditions.
Application #1614 Transylvania Brook Estates; Roxbury Road (Ct Route 67) & South Britain Road (Ct Route 172); F & A, applicant; approval consists of subdividing a 36.7 acre tract into 7 different lots with 6 of the lots proposed as building lots along Route 67 and Route 172, with conditions.
Application #1615 Jeremy Swamp & Hulls Hill Roads Drainage Improvements; Town of Southbury, applicant; approval consists of redesign of drainage and road height at the intersection of Hulls Hill and Jeremy Swamp Roads, with conditions.
