2nd Annual K of C Council 5066 Golf Outing to raise funds for scholarships and a number of other charitable causes.

For the past 55 years the Council has been pursuing the stated principles of the Knights of Columbus worldwide organization – Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Council 5066 satisfies these principles in the Southbury area through programs and contributions to more than thirteen (13) charitable/not-for-profit groups/agencies/organizations. Among these, but not limited to them, are Carolyn’s Place, Southbury Fuel Bank, Home Front (Americares), Habitat for Humanity, Sacred Heart Mission Trip to Haiti, Tootsie Roll Drive in support of individuals with intellectual disabilities, quality of Life funds for Southbury Training School, and scholarships for Pomperaug High School grads.

The registration fee includes 18 holes with a cart, lunch, dinner at the Sunset Grille, Keg beer on the course, chances to win prizes and a driving range warm-up. There will be awards for Hole in One, Closest to the Pin, 50/50 hole, Longest Drive, Closest to the Line, and a Putting Challenge. All for only $135.00 For non-golfers, dinner will be available for $35.00.
