11/25/2012 - “Chico & Rita" screening on November 25, 2012

The fourth film in the “Southbury Sunday Night at the Movies” series  is “Chico & Rita" which will be shown on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 7PM at the Heritage Hotel, 522 Heritage Road in Southbury.

Chico is a young piano player with big dreams in1948 Cuba. Rita is a beautiful singer with an extraordinary voice. Music and romantic desire unites them, but their journey – in the tradition of the Latin ballad, the bolero – brings heartache and torment. From Havana to New York, Paris, Hollywood and Las Vegas, two passionate individuals battle impossible odds to unite in music and love.

The "Southbury Sunday Night at the Movies" series has been created by the Southbury Film Commission in cooperation with the CT Film Festival and the Heritage Hotel. Please visit the Southbury Film Commission website for the series schedule, film descriptions and trailers.

All films are Independent Films and do not have a rating assigned to them. CT Film Festival recommends that these films are suggested for Adult Audiences and not appropriate for children.

Click to purchase the tickets. Tickets will also be sold at the door. General Admission is normally $12.00 per film. Senior and Students are normally $10.00 per film.

The Heritage Hotel will also offer concession items for sale - everything from soft drinks, water, wine, beer, popcorn and candy to a fabulous cheese & cracker platter. Please no outside food or beverage.
