Mission/General Information:
The mission of this commision is to preserve and protect open space land including wetlands and farmlands in the Town of Southbury.
The Conservation Commission consists of seven (7) members appointed by the First Selectman. Four (4) members or three (3) members shall be appointed for terms of four (4) years on a rotating basis as terms expire to perform the duties prescribed in Section 7-131a of the General Statutes.
