The Town of Southbury's Social Services Department relies solely on donated funds. The department accepts applications for the State of Connecticut's fuel assistance program. Referrals are made to the state food stamp program as well as the state's financial assistance programs.
The Town of Southbury's residents are extremely generous in providing assistance to our less fortunate families. The department is committed to helping all residnts of Southbury.
The Social Services department also coordinates a Dial-A-Ride program for elderly and disabled.
