Southbury - Ballantine Pool

The Southbury Parks and Recreation department is pleased to announce that we have totally renovated the bathhouse at Ballantine Pool! Come check out our brand new exciting bathhouse.

The Town of Southbury offers recreational swimming nearly year round at two locations in town. Our residents can also enjoy the outdoor pool located at Ballantine Park on Old Field Road during the summer months. Special events are also held at the town pool during July and August such as local swim meets, middle school pool party and the popular water carnival for the younger ages. Proof of residency is required. Registration begins:  Monday, April 11th, 2011.

Pool Membership Fees:

Family: $200.00

Individual: $110.00

Senior's: $55.00

Adult Day Pass: $8.00

Child Day Pass: $6.00

Guest Pass: $10.00

Membership Descriptions:

Family: Parents and their unmarried children under 21 years of age residing in the same household. Grandparents and household help are not included in the family membership but may be eligible for their own passes.

Individual: Adults and youth ages 13 and over.

Senior's: Adults ages 55 and over.

Adult Day Pass: Resident adults ages 13 and over. Proof of residency required.

Child Day Pass: Resident child ages 12 and under. Proof of residency required and must be accompanied by an adult.

Guest Pass: Non-Resident but must be accompanied by resident pool member.

Pre-Season Hours: Dates TBA

Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

In-Season Hours: June 25 - September 5

Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 11:00am - 7:00pm

*Pool may be closed or opening may be delayed for an occasional scheduled swim meets.
