The department of Southbury Parks and Recreation within the past few years has moved to it's new and more spacious facility located at 561 Main Street South.
The new location features an Arts and Crafts Room with a sink, an Excercise Room, and a large Multi-Purpose Room that can be divided into two rooms by a retractable wall. The facility's lobby is highlighted by a wall length showcase displaying trophies and plaques won by the various sports groups sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Now able to hold all classes offered throughout the department, rooms are also available as a further service to the local community, for meetings of Southbuy's non-profit orgranizations.
